WHAT TIME DO YOUR SERVICES START?
Our worship services begin at 10:45 a.m. on Sunday mornings. During this service we also have a nursery available for infants through 3 years old, Tots Church for 4 years old through Kindergarten, and Children’s Church for 1st grade through 6th grade.
HOW DO I GET TO YOUR CHURCH?
Our address is 420 Jones Avenue, Oak Hill, WV. We are located at the intersection of Jones Avenue and Bibb Street. Click here for a map to our church and to receive directions from Google Maps.
WHAT HAPPENS IN A SERVICE?
On Sunday mornings we gather to worship God together. During this time we sing praises to God, pray together, and hear God’s word taught.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
You may wear whatever you want. There are some people who wear a shirt & tie, others who come more business casual (slacks and a polo shirt), and still others who wear jeans and a t-shirt. Whatever you wear you’ll fit right in. It’s important to remember that God looks at the soul, not at the suit.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN I VISIT FOR THE FIRST TIME?
If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you. Come in, enjoy the service, and see if Jones Avenue is the church for you. During your visit you will be asked to complete an information card so we can connect with you after your visit. Guests receive a gift bag filled with goodies and information about Jones Avenue.
WHAT DO MY KIDS DO?
At Jones Avenue your children are a top priority. We offer a number of children’s programs that take place on Sundays and Wednesdays. Please see the schedule below for these programs and times.
